Money Raised Through Yearly Gift Basket Fundraiser
Each year since 2009, the Carthage Lions Club hosts a gift basket fundraiser to benefit the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation’s (CAHF) Diabetes Fund, as it relates to its mission. This year, their fundraiser generated $400.00. Proceeds were raised from raffle baskets that were placed at Carthage Savings & Loan over a period of several weeks.
“The Carthage Lions Club’s commitment towards advocacy for the blind, visually impaired, and diabetes is evident. On behalf of the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and staff, we thank the Carthage Lions Club for their continued generosity. These funds assist in purchasing materials for our Diabetes Education Program that is led by Certified Diabetes Educator, Carly Draper, RD, CDN, CDE,” said Taylour Leone, Carthage Hospital Foundation Executive Director.
