Whitney Smith, PA-C

Whitney Smith, PA-C joined Carthage Pediatric Clinic, 117 N. Mechanic St., Carthage, in 2022 with six years of pediatric experience in outpatient private practice and newborn nursery. Carthage Area Hospital is pleased to welcome Smith to its medical team.

Smith moved to the North Country from Fayetteville, North Carolina and originally hails from Concord, North Carolina. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry with a Spanish minor from Davidson College, Davidson, NC in 2009. Smith graduated with her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University, Fayetteville, NC in 2015.

After completing her education, Smith began her Physician Assistant career at Cross Creek Pediatrics, Fayetteville, NC. From there, she gained experience at Kids First Pediatrics, Fayetteville, NC before moving to the North Country. Outside of work, Smith enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Carthage Pediatric Clinic treats the illnesses and injuries that occur in children with compassion and care. Our staff of specialists provide the care and attention each patient needs, from newborns to adolescents and everyone in between. Our procedures include physical exams, sick visits, vaccinations, and more, and all are performed with an emphasis on continuity of care in a reliable, warm environment. Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm. Smith joins medical providers, Prabhjot Thind, MD; Marlene Hajal-Mouaikel; and Brittany Schwartz, PA-C. Carthage Pediatrics is accepting new patients.
