Fundraiser scheduled for October 10th at Carthage Elks Lodge
The Carthage Area Hospital (CAH) Auxiliary is hosting a Chicken BBQ Fundraiser on Sunday, October 10th, 2021 at the Carthage Elks Lodge, 511 Fulton St., Carthage, NY from 11am-1pm. Dinner includes chicken, roll, beans, and salt potatoes.
Pre-orders can be made through Auxiliary member, Lori Ashcroft at 315-519-5207 before Monday, September 27th, 2021. Walk-ins are welcome the day of the event.
Proceeds from this sale will benefit the CAH Auxiliary.
About the CAH Auxiliary
The Carthage Area Hospital Auxiliary is comprised of men and women who volunteer to support the hospital and believe that it’s an integral part of their communities. Through their efforts, the auxiliary helps to purchase much-needed hospital equipment.
The auxiliary presents opportunities to interact with and meet new people, try out skills and uncover hidden talents to make valuable, personal contributions that help to improve the hospital. How much a member volunteers is up to the individual — a few hours a day, week, or month, or on a special project.
The cost to join is minimal: $5 for regular membership; $4 senior citizen and $50 for life membership. The auxiliary also manages the hospital gift shop, which provides moderately priced merchandise for staff and patients.
