Cheryl Tousant, PT, DPT

Cheryl Tousant, PT, DPT is a alumni of Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, holding a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  She joined the team at Carthage Area Hospital in 2009 and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.   Aside from a fondness of good food, Cheryl enjoys touring the Adirondack Park, exploring mountain peak scenery.  Cheryl is focusing her practice towards the geriatric population (ages 65+) and specializes in fall reduction through balance and strength training. She is an advocate for Evidence Base Practice, which incorporates cutting edge assessments using standardized outcome based measurements and functional interventions into her practices.  She is a firm believer in patient oriented and patient driven care.
