Remodeled Suite in Carthage Professional Building Offers More Space for Patient Care

Tri County Orthopedics, Carthage Area Hospital’s orthopedic practice, will move into remodeled clinic space in the Carthage Professional Building on April 25.

A regional leader in upper extremity surgeries and care, Tri-County Orthopedics opened its doors to patients in 2009 under the leadership of Surgeon Nata Parnes, M.D., who continues to lead the practice. Parnes also serves as Carthage Area Hospital Director of Orthopedics. The clinic has maintained outpatient services in the Carthage Professional Building since its inception in Suite 1 on the north side of the building. Beginning Wednesday, the clinic will serve patients in Suite 5, on the building’s south side.

The move will not interrupt any services or scheduled patient care. The new clinic space provides Tri-County Orthopedics with additional square footage and makes room for the anticipated expansion of services later this spring.

No phone numbers will change as a result of the move. Patients can still reach Tri-County Orthopedics at 315-493-3333 and fax to 315-493-4875. Clinic hours will also remain the same, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Carthage Therapy Services was previously housed in the space that Tri-County Orthopedics will occupy. The hospital moved its outpatient Therapy Services team into larger clinic space at the main hospital campus, 1001 West St., in March.

“We anticipate no changes in service or care for our valued patients as our orthopedics practice moves into its new clinic space,” Carthage Area Hospital CEO Rich Duvall said. “We are excited to unveil an expanded clinic that will soon offer patients additional services in one convenient location.”
