SUPPORT The Foundation Natalie Burnham

The mission of the Foundation is to promote charitable gifts to ensure continued excellence in Community Healthcare.

The Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that the Carthage Area retains and maintains a local Hospital, which delivers quality, primary healthcare to members of the community. Financial donations to the Foundation directly support the needs of Carthage Area Hospital and are used to purchase new equipment, capital improvement support or earmarked for a particular department as specified by donors. All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The Carthage Area Hospital Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable corporation with its own volunteer board of directors.

The Foundation encourages and coordinates charitable giving to support Carthage Area Hospital.

There are several ways people can help:

  1. through monetary gifts, memorials, scholarships, or endowments;
  2. through non-cash gifts like stocks, bonds, property, or bequests;
  3. through attending or supporting an event like our Golf Tournament or Comedy Night;
  4. coordinate a fundraiser on our behalf;
  5. contribute financially to our Annual Appeal;
  6. become an active volunteer.

The Carthage Area Hospital Auxiliary is hosting “Margaret Faydle Comes to Town,” a one-woman dinner theatre show from the book, “Murderers” by Jeffrey Hatcher on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Sahara Restaurant in Carthage, NY starting at 6pm. The cost is $25/person which includes dinner and the show. For reservations, please call 315-493-2207. Deadline for reservations is Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Meadowbrook Terrace, Cole Road, will again host this year's annual meeting of the Carthage Area Hospital Auxiliary on Thursday, April 24 at 7pm.

The community is invited to be a part of the 1st Annual Fishing for Freedom Bass Tournament set for July 25 - July 26, 2014 at Bonnie Castle Resort in Alexandria Bay, NY. Fishing for Freedom will pay homage to Active Military by celebrating freedom and outdoor recreation in Northern New York.

Nicole Bartoszewski, RPA-C works at our Adams Community Health Center and our Emergency Room at Carthage Area Hospital.

In 2002, Ms. Bartoszewski earned her Bachelors degree at SUNY Oswego with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and Forensic Science. As a senior, Ms. Bartoszewski was the recipient of the Dr. Norman J. and Elsie H. Gillette Outstanding Senior in Biology Award. She continued on to Mercy College to complete her Masters with a M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies and a B.S. in Health Science in 2009. Ms. Bartoszewski was inducted into Pi Alpha, the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants.
