Executive Director - Full-Time: Carthage Area Hospital and Carthage Area Hospital Foundation are seeking a community oriented, self-motivate individual to lead fundraising efforts. Canidate should have strong written and oral communication skills, experience in sales, fundraising, nonprofit management, and ability to work with volunteers/donors. Knowledge of healthcare and QuickBooks accounting system are desired. Bachelor's degree preferred.
RNs: Full-Time 7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a.Carthage Area Hospital has several openings for full-time RNs. The minimum qualifications are as follows: Current NYS Licensed Registered Nurse required; BLS required; ACLS; PALS; NRP and NIH Stroke Certification preferred or obtained during orientation program; and previous ER experience preferred.
SWING BED COORDINATOR: Full-Time 8a-4p.Carthage Area Hospital has an opening for a full-time Swing Bed Coordinator. The minimum qualifications are as follows:
Current NYS Licensed Registered Nurse required.
Certification to complete New York State PRI forms and assessment, interview, and coordination skills required.
Current knowledge and ability to apply NYDOH, JCAHO, CMS, and IPRO regulations to all areas of work.
Ability to do UAS, MDS and Nursing Evaluations.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with patients of various backgrounds and ages, and with hospital staff at all levels, especially physicians, department managers and nursing staff.
Ability to collect and analyze data, problem solve at all levels, and initiate or adapt internal systems to external regulations.
Ability to plan and conduct interdepartmental/interagency meetings.
Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to changing tasks.
