Occupational Therapist: Full-Time. Carthage Area Hospital has a full-time opening for a
Occupational Therapist. The following qualifications are required: a current New York State
Occupational Therapy License; Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy or
graduate of accredited college or university with a certificate in Occupational Therapy; 3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of Occupational Therapy preferred; Current BLS (CPR) certification; Basic computer knowledge; Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology; Knowledge of physical therapy machine operation.
Accountant: Full-Time. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3-5 years’ experience. CPA preferred. Demonstrate ability to organize/prioritize assignments, work independently and meet deadlines. Must possess the ability to interact and communicate effectively. Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules/reconciliations according to monthly close schedule.
Carthage Area Hospital has a full-time 11p-7a opening for a Home Health Aide at Meadowbrook Assisted Living Facility. Certified Nursing Assistants may also apply and will have to take an 8 hour course to be certified as a Home Health Aide.
Literate, emotionally mature adult in good health possessing integrity, poise, dignity and good grooming.
Must possess a current, valid NYS Driver’s License.
The Home Health Aide must successfully complete an approved training course to carry out assigned activities or have documented evidence of completion of an equivalency exam approved by New York State Department of Health.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral/written instructions in English, document care given, record messages, keep simple records and speak the predominant language of the resident.
Sympathetic attitude towards providing services for residents.
Participate in 12 hours of in-service education per year as required by New York State regulations.
Must be self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and interact tactfully with clients, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must be trained in medication assistance and demonstrate competency.
This hospital owned, well established neighborhood Dental Clinic has an opening for a Dentist to work Full-Time starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Dentist with great communication skills who likes to take the time to treat patients like family.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable doing general dentistry including extractions and endo, but we will consider all applications. There is also OR opportunities if interested.
There are no weekends, holidays or on-call. Those who are in the process of or have recently completed a GPR program are encouraged to apply.
